Spring is a welcome time to view the landscape with fresh eyes. Our surroundings seem to wake up, fresh faced, and it is a warm reminder to take notice. The work in this issue focuses on the landscape of our surroundings as well as the landscape of self. It views nostalgia with a lens of change and is ready for you to notice it.
This issue is our second installment in the celebratory twenty years of Stirring. It features poems from Kelly Samuels, E. Kristin Anderson, as well as a sestina from Alyse Knorr. It also celebrates an interesting hybrid fiction piece from Kayla Williams and CNF from Sean Thomas Dougherty alongside an amazing review of Kai Naima Williams’ chapbook. The incredible visual art curation features work from Emma Viewser, Nicholas Fair, Fabrice Poussin, and Mario Loprete, and the issue was guest edited by fabulous Sundress Publications author Hali Sofala-Jones.
If you missed us at AWP, be sure to keep an eye out for the announcement of our special themed anniversary issue in October.
